Nigel Lowther

Nigel is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience across a broad range of sectors.

Prior to joining Bartra, Nigel worked as a corporate services accountant in the advisory department of Kieran Ryan & Co. During this time, he was seconded to a privately owned company and gained experience in the leasing, insurance and private equity sectors. His role as a corporate services accountant included preparation of the Group Consolidated Financial Statements, the Group Financial Model, and monthly and quarterly board packs.

Alongside, his role as a corporate services accountant, Nigel also helped implement cloud-based accounting software systems for a number of clients of Kieran Ryan & Co., and managed the re-development of the Kieran Ryan & Co website and internal procedures.

Nigel trained in HLB Sheehan Quinn, where he gained experience in audit, accounts prep, corporation tax and income tax. During his training, Nigel worked with a broad range of clients across different sectors, including meat processing, property, and professional Services. On completion of his training contract, Nigel moved to the outsourcing department of RSM Ireland where he dealt with a portfolio of FDI clients, working as their virtual financial controller. Nigel also has a BA (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the National College of Ireland.
