Paul McGrath

Paul is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the public and private sectors across the UK and Ireland. Paul is responsible for the Development Management and Asset Management Teams in Bartra. The Development Management Team has successfully delivered multiple projects across the commercial, residential, nursing home and co-living sectors. In excess of €100 million of construction projects are currently on site, with a further €1 billion pipeline in development. The Asset Management Team has transacted over €200 million in value and has wide ranging responsibilities from identification and acquisition of opportunities, to business plan implementation, facilities management, and asset management. It has established a strong track record in repositioning and transforming underperforming assets.

Paul was previously Head of Commercial Property for Cosgrave Property Group, one of Ireland’s largest and longest established residential and commercial property investment and development operations. He was responsible for a commercial development and investment portfolio worth in excess of €2 billion. Responsibilities also included the management of investment acquisitions and disposals in the UK and Ireland and the acquisition, planning process, and development phase, for large and complex mixed use and commercial projects.
