Founded in 2015, Bartra is a privately owned international property company, headquartered in Dublin. We develop, manage, and invest with the purpose of improving property and places to deliver sustainable, commercial, and social benefit.
We are focused on the delivery and operation of high-quality property solutions across all sectors including social and private housing, commercial real estate, nursing homes, and co-living.
Our Dublin team, comprising 35 multi-disciplinary experts, handles €2 billion worth of diverse property developments. With our senior management boasting 200+ years of Irish and International experience, we also operate sister companies in four Middle Eastern and Asian offices.
From legal and financing to construction, planning, and beyond, we’ve got the skills for complex, multi-use and large-scale projects. Our expertise extends to the operational skills required to operate nursing homes, social housing, and co-living.
We currently have in excess of €500 million worth of construction projects onsite and in build across the social and private housing, healthcare and commercial sectors, including the €141 million Sidings
Bartra Healthcare is a group of premium-quality residential nursing homes and transitional care units. The portfolio, with capacity for 617 residents, consists of three purpose-built nursing homes in Loughshinny (Skerries), Northwood (Santry) and Clondalkin, and a state-of-the-art HSE transitional care unit in Beaumont (Artane). In August 2022 Bartra Healthcare sold the portfolio to Belgian REIT Aedifica for €161 million. The facilities continue to be operated under long term leases by Bartra Healthcare.
Bartra will deliver three thousand new homes between now and 2030, with our primary focus on the continued delivery of sustainable social housing.
In 2023, Bartra launched Ireland’s first purpose built co-living development in Dún Laoghaire, south Dublin. Located adjacent to Dún Laoghaire DART station Niche Living Dún Laoghaire offers 204 studio apartments, together with state-of-the-art amenities and work from home facilities. Niche Living Rathmines is currently in build and will open in summer 2024, with Niche Living Ballsbridge to follow in early 2025.
